1930’s Hat Block
£165.00
This wonderful object really tells a story. In the 1930’s, the well to do fashionable lady visits the high end milliners’ in London to have her personalised hat fitted and made. The hat maker would use the hard wood hat block to pin the material and shape the style. This particular one was painted a creamy white, maybe to help find the pin marks which is what you see.
This would sit as a work of art in any home, modern or old. It has such tactility, how could you walk past this and not have a quick feel?!
It stands 33cm tall and is 21cm at its widest point
