The fascinating inscription of “PRESENTED TO THE GUDORA BY THE PENMAN 1888” meant something to someone 136 years ago, but alas I have no idea who The Gudora might be.
With wonderful lattice work decoration and a beautifully smooth operation, these were clearly a top quality instrument presented to the very well regarded Gudora, and still work as well today as they did then.
They are 20cm long when fully extended and 15cm when closed.
