This solid brass boat or ship’s wheel dates from around 1900. It could be polished to be nice and shiny but at the moment it’s been left with its lovely used look. The control handle would have made steering a little easier but now just adds to its decorative appeal.
The circle of the wheel is 43 cm diameter, and its widest point is 58.5cm.
