An exceptional quality antique walking stick with a fabulous deer hoof/foot handle, this really is a wonderful example of craftmanship.
I’m unsure of the wood type but the weight and patina are just perfect. A metal collar and tip finish off this 94cm long stick which has been carved with a snake twisting from bottom to top. The snake has then been coloured black with slight green overtones.
As sturdy and useful as the day it was hand made, you will rarely see a finer example.
