The beautifully smooth lock and key are testament to the skills of Robert Barron, the man who invented the double-acting tumbler lock and the maker of this 18th century Strong box.

Measuring W36cm x D26cm x H18cm and weighing 15.2kg, with two superbly crafted handles to the sides and one to lift the lid. As strong and secure as it was in the late 1700’s, with just a small repair to the top.
