A 1950’s/60’s cast iron piggy bank all the way from The U.S.A. and absolutely full of charming character.
They were made in two sizes and this lad, at 19cm x 12.5cm is the smaller version. He has a cream colour which has a few small scuffs but he seems as happy as a pig in…, well you know.
There are plenty of reproductions out there but this is an original survivor. You can’t resist picking him up and feeling how heavy and tactile he is. He has a piggy bank slot on his back but is just as content being a magnificent best in show ornament.
He deserves a good home and so free delivery is offered to UK mainland.
