Clown Face Sculpture

This is a real one off piece of spooky art. Almost life size at 21cm tall, he has real weight to him thanks to the thick clay used as you can see from the underside.

Over time, the colours on the wonderful crackle glazing, particularly the red, have remained strong but the fading and cracks in the pottery have created a perfectly creepy clown face. It’s hard to tell but the cracking appears to have occurred during the creative process. Even adding to the look with a possible lobotomy.
