Pair of Antique Carved Wooden Quail

This is a pair of hand carved and hand painted extremely decorative Quail. These antique beauties have the most fantastic patina made of the layers of gold, black and red  paint, making them extremely tactile objects. They both have exude character and signs of wear commensurate with age, including one slightly damaged and one repaired beak.
