Serpent and Grape Cast Iron Garden Bench “Coalbrookdale”
£725.00
The Serpent and Dog design was first registered by Coalbrookdale in 1844 and appears for the first time in their catalogue in 1875.
This is a much sort after 1940/50s reproduction and still made with extremely heavy cast iron ends to the original design.
Measuring W151cm x H74cm x D74cm, the beautiful scrolled ends feature a serpent and grapes as well a hound head on the end of each arm.
Plenty of wear commensurate with age and being kept outside as a very usable piece of garden furniture.
