Siebe Gorman & Co originated in 1819 and in 1904 became Siebe Gorman & Co Ltd. The company was a world leader in diving apparatus respirators and gas masks. Their “Neptune Works” factory in Lambeth, London, was a significant site for their operations including testing deep-sea diving and high altitude breathing equipment.
It is a nice weighty sign with obvious signs of wear to the enamel but in generally good condition.
