This is a curious one, fascinating design and good quality mahogany, but definitely very unusual.

Perfect as an end table next to the sofa in absolutely any style of interior, it dates from the early part of the 20th century but little else is known about this piece. The condition and colour are lovely with just a small split at the top of one leg.

The beautiful curved lip to the table top and nice detailing of the scrolls at the top of the legs, suggest it is French. It has been suggested that it could even be an apprentice piece.
