Small but perfectly formed is this charming antique safe. The original key and lock still work beautifully well and there are holes within the cast iron body to enable it to be secured to a wall or unit.
There are signs of wear to the paintwork commensurate with age, and the focal point of the brass escutcheon still works well.
No makers marks can be found on this safe and the the decoration on the escutcheon could even suggest that it is a hand made one off piece.
It measures H16.5 cm x W8.7 cm x D 11cm .
