This little chap is was crafted by the Nymawezi Tribe in Tanzania and would have been used as a medicine receptacle, hence the small hole in the top of the head. He is wrapped in fabric which is a form of empowering and has characteristic small glass bead eyes.
He stands 18cm tall and has a beautiful well used patina. A hand made, one of a kind piece of African history.
