A very well cast and really rather heavy (6.2kg, 13.6lb) bronze pineapple.
A life size sculpture at 34cm tall with a lift off top for storing or hiding anything you like. The lid has three small pins which fit neatly into the equivalent holes to ensure it is in the correct position. This along with the weight and great detail, is a sign of good quality. The rim around the base is marked PM which is the maker or artist dating from the 1970’s. The body is a natural bronze with the leaves or “crown” cold painted green. Small signs of age related wear.
