A rare original ticket rack made specifically for Edmonson tickets which were used in the early 20th century, hence the small slots and shallow depth, This would have been used in a railway station most likely on the Southern Railway in the south east of England, It still has small stickers and hand written names on some compartments. Signs of wear commensurate with age and signs that it has been over painted several times since it’s use in the 1930’s, although not recently. It would make a fantastic centre piece in any kitchen or any room as a display for a small object collection.
