Vintage Sun and Moon Balance Toy

This vintage toy is often referred to as a “teeter totter” or “Sky Hook” and this wonderful folk art example has a home made stand which incorporates a candle holder. The eyes of the sun move from side to side as they create a mesmorising tick tock sound as it sways left and right.

It stands an impressive 55cm tall and is enhanced by a wonderful patination to the paint which has of course worn over time.
